A CD-ROM is an optical compact disc that contains data. Computers can read—but not write to or erase—CD-ROMs.
We sell two types of CD-ROMS:
Audio CD
These can be played in CD players, most DVD players and computers (that have a CD or DVD drive). These are Audio only, and in some cases, you can open the contents of the CD on a computer to access the PDF Study notes. Audio CD's can also be copied to applications like iTunes and transferred to your tablet, smartphone or portable music player. Audio CDs have a max playtime of about 74 minutes, so audio CD products normally come with multiple discs, containing one session per disc.
MP3 CD-ROM
These CD's contain audio MP3 files and usually a PDF file (Handbook/Study notes). One disc can hold many hours of audio. The files on MP3 CD's can be read by computers (with a CD or DVD Drive) and copied to the computer. You can play the files on you computer, or transfer the MP3s to a tablet, smartphone or other compatible device. You can also create Audio CD's (for your car audio CD player for example) from the MP3s using software like iTunes. MP3 CDs cannot be played with a regular Audio CD player (although many modern Audio CD players are MP3 DISC compatible so check the manufacturers specifications if you are unsure), but modern DVD players may be able to access and play the MP3s via the DVD player's menu.
